Under false pretenses, I'll start by saying that Thursday night was bunk. I came home from school, did my homework, crashed at 4:30 ish, answered the phone around 8:30 ish, called my piano teacher informing her that I woulnd't be there, went back to bed, and woke up Friday around 5:40 ish. It. Was. Awesome.
Friday happened to be an early release, for some reason strange to me. I don't think any of us knew really, but I'm not complaining. After coming home and taking a three thousand hour trip up the road AND gaining valuable driving experience, I flavored life by going to the park whilst waiting for the third party to arrive. Due to the cold nature of the outdoors in the aforementioned March weather, a good friend and I scuttled back from the park, even though the swings were absolutely prime. As the third party arrived, we hackneyed the hackie until we had made complete fools of ourselves. Surprised? :D
From thence we made our way to the theater, to see the ever raved Coraline. With Bruno Coulais as the film musician, the flick was fantastic. The creepy/cool element of Burton-esque added flair to it. It was much better seeing it than just living off the half proper summaries of it I gathered from several sources. :D
After Coraline, we all rendezvoused back at my house, where I found my sister, kids, and mom were watching a western of sorts. We quickly outed it again, and this time went to get CO2 at the local Hell*Mart. Sadly, I was attracted almost immediately to the new Maybelline LastStiletto mascara stand. As you can imagine, I was sucked into purchasing it. As a critic, I'll say that I was sorely dissapointed with the end result. Unless you have intensely naturally voluminous lashes, when Maybelline says Stiletto affect, they mean sharp spiny thin narrow daggars, not unlike the shoe. As a primer before a volumizing mascara, it's fantastic. But if you're going for the va-voom affect and your lashes are hapless to begin with, do NOT! use it alone. :D I should start writing my memoirs: Confessions of a Mascara Junkie.
As I ventured to the to the library with my dad on Friday, I was drawn to a white book with shiny silver lettering that read Blink. I had heard of it via my English class, so I checked it out and started reading immediately. If I hadn't been driving, I would have read it all the way home. I don't really have a fantastic way to explain it, other than to encourage you to read it for yourself because it's absolutely amazing. Blah blah blah. I'm out to edit pics and junk like that. Cheers!
