Homework, Cubans and More Homework

Not that I'm whining or anything... BUT! oh my gosh! Shouldn't spring break be a legitimate break from school? Did I miss something in the heirarchy of school issued breaks? My bad.

With that in mind, please note also that I had a massive paper [that I suppose I could have done before...], two chapters of history [just so I don't stick out in class by not knowing the material...] to outline, and a million blog entries to catch up on [do you see how much I love you?]. TELL ME THAT ISN'T THE TYPICAL BREAK AGENDA! Great. I can't wait for college, where there is no spring break....

Speaking of which.... :D

This morning as I was working on my behemoth that they call English [yeah. It's not my first language.... Jk.] Paper, my aunt informed me that some visitors would be stopping by. Typically I'd show some effort to look decent, but because of the nature of this paper, I felt no inclination to change or even get half pretty. So here I was in my pj's and a naked face, when in walks one of the most adorable gentlemen I've ever seen. After being introduced the first thing that he said was "I'm not Spanish," which I thought was funny, so I un-wittily retorted "Neither am I." Wow. I'm awesome. He was Cuban [ancestrally, but really from Florida], and that probably had something to do with his gorgeous tan. By then I was half embarrassed of the nudity of my face. Not really though. I figure if I'm insecure enough to be ashamed of my natural face, then I'm more lame than I already am. If we hadn't run into them later when I had my face on I would of felt absolutely awful. Oh well. At least he saw me both ways. :D

Suffice it to say, although he's a few years older than me, we'll end up [maybe?] at the same college, in the same grade, so who knows what will happen.

After that, my day become highly uneventful. My aunt and I went to my gramma's, then came home and did more homework. How lame is that?

Yeah, I thought so too. I'd better go finish the rest that I have. Cheers.
