Literate Dinosaurs, Little Kidsies, and The Color Grey

English was eventful today, as usual. We had a substitute, the same we've had before, only this time he was more aggressive in his attempt to quell the class. Once again we were viewing a video on an author, however this one had more class than the Edgar Allen Poe mockumentary. During the time we were supposed to be filling out the questionnaire, the punk that sits behind me [not you Chaz] decided that he was intent on making the plastic cretaceous creatures be able to write, in this case by strapping a pencil to them. However, he was unable to do so, seeing as the anatomy of the saur wasn't molded to hold a pencil. Because of this, we attracted the sub's attention completely, and he decided to help us in our quest for dinosaur legibility. Somewhere he scrounged a rubber band, which he then used to noose the pencil to the saur's neck. This is what happens when we have a substitute teacher.

Doctor Seuss day was a few days back, but in order to celebrate it, my former elementary school had a "Snuggle Up and Read" night and needed volunteers to read Seuss stories to the little'uns. We [probably for good reason] were not told that it was a pajama party.

Sigh.

Leave it to be said that a few friends and I were given the chance to Seuss our hearts out to attentive little kids starved of good literature and love. It was a great night, mainly because I was made to read aloud to people, and HELLO! it was Dr. Seuss! The only unfortunate part about it was that there weren't any of his epic books, I.E. The Lorax, Horton Hatches an Egg, or The Star Bellied Sneetches and Other Stories. I guess they would have too much political and moral meaning behind them. Sad day!

The weather of March has been utterly abominable. Really it's been cold, nasty, and a beautiful shade of gre. My eyes have more dinension than the bleak world of Boise. However, the weather of my eyes doesn't consist of rain, hail, sunshine, rain, hail, grey skies, all in a half day period. No kidding. Oddly enough, my eyes have no grey in them. Leave it be that Boise March weather is the most fickle tartwhich of the
bunch.

Seeing as I have overextended my welcome in my own blog, I suppose I'll be off to... look at the grey sky...? Cheers.
