-From Saturday-
This morning my mom and I went shopping. Yes. My mom and I. Shopping. She hates it. :D I love it. It's a healthy mix of the extremes. I don't feel absolutely awful about dragging her there with me. We shopped for her the night before.
For some strange reason the clearance rack is positioned directly as you walk in. Immediately I was drawn to a lovely purple knit cardigan that simply screamed "I'm yours!" So I bought it. Pics later if I ever remember to take some while wearing it.
Some time later, I came home, quite burnt out. Because of this, I fell asleep on my couch [an EW couch mind you] after cleaning for some in my house. A friend was coming over later this evening, and I had planned to have my house rearranged before he arrived. Yeah. That didn't happen. :D Being the awful Shedevil that I am, I enlisted his amazing skill and muscles to help me move some bookcases around in my living room. While it doesn't sound that amazing, I can affirm honestly that it was. We shed blood, [maybe a little] sweat, and tears over that project! I'm not even sure if I like it....
For being such a good candidate [and partly because my family came over and immediately begged me to make them] I decided to make chocolate chip cookies. Thinking that we already had a bag of chocolate chips, I was set to make them. However, not knowing that they had been demolished whilst I was spring breaking, I had to run to the store to get some. Haha. Very funny. '-'
The store trip took waaaaaaaaay longer than expected, mostly because my mom loaded us up with a list of things to get. No worries though. :D We had a blast. I think.
The cookies were crap for the first four testers, because I substituted one cup of oatmeal straight across for one cup of flour, and that was dumb. Obviously the density of oatmeal and flour is different. Even I knew that! -Rolls eyes-
I decided some time later to add the proper amount of flour, and boom chief! The cookies I'm [in]famous for and everyone [sans me] loves! Amazing how that works. :D
It's Saturday, and I spend the day shopping, moving furniture, and hanging with family and near family. I can handle that. Much love. Cheers. :D
